In this GarageBand Creator Series video, I talk to Ron Ward about collaborating with others using GarageBand.

Ron and Brian Bigler formed their virtual band “Saigon Slick and the Boston Bard” after meeting in the GarageBand Users Facebook group and have now recorded a bunch of great covers and original tracks.

In this video I find out about Ron’s music background and how he and Brian work together on their GarageBand projects.

In this video, I talk to GarageBand creator Cess van der Vlis about his debut single “Cover Act” and dive in to the process he went through recording, mixing and releasing the song.

“Cover Act” by Pascal Potential was recorded and mixed in GarageBand iOS, mastered using the LANDR online mastering platform and released using the free Amuse distribution service.

Alesis SURGE Mesh Electronic Drum Set – Setup

Check out the Alesis Surge here – https://amzn.to/2ERLWno
(And stay tuned to the channel for a full review)

Alesis SURGE Electronic Drum Set – Setting Up

In this video, I show you my brand new Alesis Surge electronic drum kit and with the assistance of my Mini-Me helper, we (eventually) work out how to put it together and get drumming!

The Alesis Surge is a mid-range electronic drum kit including mesh drum heads and multi-zone cymbals and drums which is what I chose to go for after much research and comparison. I’m sure that I (oh, I mean my daughter) will get many hours of drumming fun out of the this kit.

Keep an eye on the channel for future videos where I will be reviewing the kit in detail as well as connecting it up to GarageBand of course!

Where is “Save to Files”?

Where is “Save to Files”?

Why is it that sometimes you don’t get the “Save to Files” option when sharing something in iOS on your iPhone or iPad?

In this video, I show you how to export/share a file to your Files app even when the “Save to Files” options does not appear.

The secret is to first use the “Open In” option to export or share your file, and then you will get the “Save to Files” option that you are looking for.
