Looking to pick up a USB flash drive for your iPhone or iPad? –

USB Drive for iPhone and iPad – SanDisk iXpand

Can you use a USB flash drive with an iPhone using the lightning to USB adapter? No, unfortunately you can’t, so the alternative is an iOS compatible USB drive like the SanDisk iXpand.

Apple’s iOS operating system does not support a standard USB flash drive as it doesn’t allow for file structures outside of its own “Files” app integration. This means that to transfer files, you need to use a device which includes its own app which is used to transfer files to and from the device.

In this video, I show you how the SanDisk iXpand works, and demonstrate how to copy any type of files to and from your iPhone or iPad and a PC running Windows. If you’re using a Mac, no problems, the flash drive is also compatible with Mac via USB.
