4-Track Challenge Song Critique of “Anxiety” – feat. Joe Gilder

Song critique of my song “Anxiety”, as part of a 4-track challenge on Joe Gilder’s “Home Studio Corner” VIP membership program.

In October 2017, I wrote and recorded the song “Anxiety” and entered it in a 4-track challenge as part of Joe Gilder’s “Home Studio Corner” VIP program. The experience was amazing and I still enjoy my VIP membership, as I get to learn from a fantastic mentor and a group of other passionate music creators.

I highly recommend Joe’s site over at http://homestudiocorner.com for some amazing content.

Are you making these five mistakes with your music on YouTube?

YouTube is an amazing platform for sharing your music, but there are some common mistakes that people make when they first start sharing their music on YouTube.

In this video, I take you through the biggest five mistakes I see folks make when they share their music on YouTube, and give some tips and tricks for positive ways to share your music online.

Here’s a quick overview of the five mistakes to avoid:
1. “Sub for Sub” – asking others to subscribe to your channel in return for subscribing to theirs
2. Link Bombing – Spamming a link to your video in too many places
3. Titles, Tags & Descriptions – not using the space YouTube gives you to describe your video
4. No Value Proposition – the “so what” factor is missing – why would people choose to click on your video?
5. Audio Quality – using compressed audio in video editing and making audio go through multiple stages of compression
