Are you making these five mistakes with your music on YouTube?

YouTube is an amazing platform for sharing your music, but there are some common mistakes that people make when they first start sharing their music on YouTube.

In this video, I take you through the biggest five mistakes I see folks make when they share their music on YouTube, and give some tips and tricks for positive ways to share your music online.

Here’s a quick overview of the five mistakes to avoid:
1. “Sub for Sub” – asking others to subscribe to your channel in return for subscribing to theirs
2. Link Bombing – Spamming a link to your video in too many places
3. Titles, Tags & Descriptions – not using the space YouTube gives you to describe your video
4. No Value Proposition – the “so what” factor is missing – why would people choose to click on your video?
5. Audio Quality – using compressed audio in video editing and making audio go through multiple stages of compression
