In this video, I reflect upon the process and provide the five biggest lessons I learned during the recording, mixing and mastering process.
My five tips in no particular order are:
1. Time management
2. Gear Acquisition syndrome
3. Lower is better
4. Keep it simple
5. Sing/play/create like nobody is watching
Welcome to my “Releasing an Album” video series, where I will be taking the songs I have recorded, many documented right here on the channel, and completing a final mix and master process before releasing my new album on August 1st, 2018.
Along the way, I will be showing you some of the processes I go through to review the tracks, adjust the mixes where necessary, complete the mastering process, design album artwork, release the album and finally promote and share the end product.
