Better Touch Guitar Sounds in GarageBand iOS – Using the Amp Simulator (iPhone/iPad)

In this video, I show you a very cool trick using the “merge” function which allows you to send your touch guitar tracks (or any other track in GarageBand iOS) to a guitar amp simulator track, to create a more realistic and customisable guitar sound.

Covered in the video:
– Recording using the guitar touch instrument
– Using duplicate, copy and paste to create a backup copy of the MIDI track
– Converting from a MIDI to and audio track using the merge function
– Copying the audio track to a guitar amp track
– Using a guitar amp tone on the original touch guitar recording
– Changing the guitar amp setting
– Adding and changing stomp boxes (pedals)
– Using third party apps via Audio Unit plugins to add more sounds
